Lucky's Landing Cottage

Lucky's Landing Cottage is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath house located in Waveland, MS, just minutes from Bay St. Louis and 45 minutes  from New Orleans. The location provides a private setting for a relaxing getaway. This house includes a spacious fenced in yard and large entertainment area under the elevated house.

The living room is a warm and inviting space. There is a large sectional, comfortable chairs, and a smart TV. The living room opens into a spacious dining room. The dining room table has seating for eight people. The dining room is connected to both the living room, kitchen, and seating area off the kitchen. These living areas are spacious and allow for natural sunlight.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a set of dishes for 12, two sets of everyday stainless flatware, utensils, cookware, and barware. There is a set of pots and pans and various dishware for baking. There is a large refrigerator with an icemaker. Appliances include an electric stove, dishwasher, and microwave. Small appliances include a coffeemaker, crockpot, air fryer, and toaster. The coffeemaker is located on a bar cart just off the kitchen. Ample cabinet and counterspace is available. There are four stools at the kitchen island for breakfast chats.

A seating area with two arm chairs and a loveseat is situated adjacent to the kitchen with books, games, and activities for all ages.

The rear deck is accessed off of the kitchen and allows for morning coffee or evening cocktails. The rear deck has stairwell access to under the house. The deck also overlooks the backyard. The front porch is perfect for morning coffees and sunsets.

There are three fully furnished bedrooms that are very comfortable and all accessed from the living room.

The primary bedroom is on the front of the house and has a king size bed with bedside tables and great lighting. There is a dresser and a seating area. The bedroom has a large window that allows natural light into the room. There is an en-suite bathroom with bathtub/shower combination and vanity sink. A hair dryer is provided. The large walk-in closet has plenty of shelving and hanging storage for those extended stays.

The second bedroom on the front of the house has a queen size bed with bedside tables. There is a dresser and seating area. The luggage rack is perfect for those weekend getaways, while the closet provides shelves and hanging space for extended stays.

The third bedroom is on the rear of the house with two twin xl beds with bedside tables and lamps.  There is a dresser and seating area.  The closet provides ample shelving and hanging space for short or long term stays.

The second bathroom is newly remodeled with a walk-in shower accessed off the living room, conveniently located between the second and third bedrooms. For a nostalgic feel, a medicine cabinet is located behind the mirror. A hair dryer is available to lighten your travel load. 

Around the corner through the kitchen is the walk-in pantry where a crockpot, toaster, and air fryer are stored.  There is plenty of shelving space for groceries or storage during your stay. Connected to the pantry is the laundry room with full size washer, dryer, iron and board.

Below the house is the third bathroom for easy access while grilling, entertaining friends and family, or for a quick rinse when returning from a day at the beach. The beauty of an elevated house is the ample entertainment space out of the weather and in the shade during those hot summer days. There is one bicycle with helmet and bike pump in the storage room for your use. There is an outdoor table located under the house. Light-weight chairs are stored in the storage room under the house that are available for guest use. A Weber charcoal grill is available for guest use. Grilling utensils are located in the pantry off the kitchen. A small variety of beach and outdoor children's toys are stored in the storage room. 

Parking is available under the house. There is a rear stairwell under the house and out of the weather that accesses the back deck off the kitchen. 

*Half-ton pickups and full-size SUV's can park under the house, but it is a tight fit. Proper positioning between columns is needed to access all four doors of your vehicle.

*Pets are allowed on an individual basis. Please call for questions and prior approval.

*Cancellation Policy:  Must notify 30 days before arrival date for full refund, 14-30 days before arrival date for 50% refund.

*We DO NOT allow receptions or weddings, rehearsal dinners, showers, stag parties, bachelor parties, large parties, etc. on the premises. Guests must be at least 25 years old. If you have questions please contact us.

*A utility lift is available to assist with getting luggage, ice chests, and other belongings upstairs. The utility lift is not for human or pet occupancy.
