Just a little list of a couple of places and things to do that we absolutely enjoy while we are on the coast.
Grocery Shopping:
-Claiborne Hill Grocery is our go-to to stock up for our beach weekends. Local Seafood, Produce and prepared foods!
-Seafood Markets- Ly Le’s Seafood Market on McLaurin Street, or Pass Christian Harbor just across the bay.
-Wal-Mart and Froogels (Bay St. Louis) are around the corner.
Where to go and What to see:
-Walk down Oak Boulevard to the Waveland beach! If you drive, you can park along Beach Blvd. Please be respectful of the no parking signs in front of driveways. (PF)
-Biloxi Shuckers Game (Baseball Fans!), MGM Park, 105 Caillavet St, Biloxi, MS 39530
-Sea Wolves Hockey Games, MS Coast Coliseum, Biloxi, MS
-Tons of options in New Orleans, less than an hours drive away.
Where to Eat, Drink and Be Merry!
Breakfast:
-Mockingbird Cafe (BSL) - Breakfast Go-to- it gets pretty busy! Pet Friendly seating outside.
-King Donuts (Waveland) - two words- “Boudain Kolache”, sneak in early to snag the best kolache’s on the coast.
-Southern Bagel (Long Beach) - A little bit of a drive but worth it for yummy chewy bagels. They sell out quickly so check their social or call before heading that way.
Lunch and Dinner:
-S&B’s Seafood (Waveland) - Local Eatery around the corner with fantastic poboys and fresh catch options.
-Claiborne Hill Grocery Store (Waveland) - Order poboys and fries from the grocery- you won’t be disappointed!
-Thorny Oyster (BSL) - a foodies delight! Great craft cocktails and unique bites.
-Brooklyn Pizzeria (BSL) - 11/10 recommend their pizza. Crust is vegan friendly.
-Ugly Pirate Tavern (BSL)- Unique local pub with mostly outdoor seating open after 4 pm on certain days with FANTASTIC pizza (and beer selection). Pizza crust is vegan friendly.
